| Seminar on Simulation in Business Process Re-Engineering at The Institute of Management Consultants of India (IMCI), Chennai - June 23rd 2008.

CGN Associate Hamid Ali (USA) was invited to talk on Business Process Re-Engineering and its imperatives at IMCI on International Management Consultant Day.
The presentation was on Business Process Re-Engineering as an on-going process critical to an organization’s success in a competitive marketplace. It provides the necessary tools and methodologies that are required for organizations to deliver results while mitigating risk, increasing efficiency & effectiveness. The audience consisted of members of the IMCI who are prominent consultants in their specific domains.

hosted the first-ever conference in India on the industry's
hot topic "PMO in IT Industry” |
IIPM – International Institute of Project Management (one of the registered education providers of PMI®, USA) arranged the Annual Professional Development Day, a celebration of International Project Management Day and “IIPM Alumni Annual Dinner meet” on Sunday, December 9th, 2007 in Chennai where our very own Dipanker Das, PMP, was invited to deliver a talk on “PMO: Implementation Experiences - A case study.”
The event was well received with about 50 participants comprised of Delivery Managers and Program Managers from leading companies like Wipro, Infosys etc.
Dipanker states: “It was a great networking event for all PMs and PMPs as well as a fantastic opportunity to learn new trends on PMO concepts, earn 7 PDUs, and get up to date with what's happening at PMI.”
Lakshmi Balaji, another associate from CGN who participated in the event, commented: ”Dipanker uses his PowerPoint skills to showcase his Point Power!!”

| World Class Project Management Workshop - 20th & 21st September 2007 |

| CGN's 3rd Seminar of the Global Seminar Series hosted at the Symbiosis Center for Management and Human Resource Development (SCMHRD) - 25th August 2007 |
As part of its strategic partnership with SCMHRD, CGN launched its 1st Global Seminar on "Global Supply Chain Management" at the SCMHRD campus on Saturday 25th August 2007. This is the 1st of series of several interactive workshops that will provide a perspective of today's Global Supply environment from a practicing manager's standpoint. This seminar was handled by Mr. Sundar Srinivasan, General Manager - Operations, CGN Asia Pacific. |
