Kris Arvind
Managing Director, CGN Asia-Pacific

Kris has over fourteen years experience in Professional Services & Management Consulting with an emphasis in manufacturing, automotive, and financial services industries. He has worked with large Fortune 50 organizations in areas as diverse as organizational vision building, change management, complexity reduction, business simulation & value analysis, portfolio/project management, and process improvement, while delivering millions of dollars of cost savings. Kris is also co-founder and Managing Director of The Pacific Institute (TPI) in India (a CGN initiative) and has extensive experience as an efficacious facilitator of TPI's widely successful curriculum, Investment in Excellence®, helping individuals and organizations worldwide achieve tremendous growth and success.

Kris is an alumnus of the Kellogg School of Management Executive Program at Northwestern University and has degrees in management and engineering from Michigan Tech University, USA and Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane, Australia. He is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), and a certified IS project manager from the American Management Association (AMA).

Kris is dedicated to improving the "human condition" within businesses and communities he lives and works with, and runs a non-profit organization with his wife that is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of the poor and the needy.

Ram Seshan
Executive Director - Human Capital Management

Ram has had a rich corporate experience spanning 38 years covering engineering and manufacturing operations in diverse industries, project management of multi-disciplinary construction contracts for oil and gas sector; marketing of industrial products and military hardware and systems for the armed forces.

Specific assignments include - exploring business diversification opportunities; techno-economic feasibility studies; negotiating technology transfers; organization and methods improvement; coordinating quality, health, and safety audits for oil pipe line construction; design and implementation of management information systems; and computer based solutions for business functions.

His current interests focus on the linkages between people's development practices and business process. In the year 2001, Ram received specialized training in coaching executives and facilitation of management development programs based on quantitative approaches in the development of individuals and groups. Issues such as Motivation, Communication, Teamwork, Organizational Development, and exploring ways to enable participants realize their potential to enhance performance, productivity, and profits are the areas he focuses on.

Ram received his MBA from IIM-Ahmedabad and earlier graduated in Mechanical Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and has worked with leading engineering organizations in India and abroad.

Suresh Kumar
Vice-President - Marketing & Business Development

Suresh has over two decades of experience in Brand Marketing, Account Management, and Media Planning across a varied range of products and services for companies ranging from small, regional ventures to large companies, with specific focus on new product strategy development and integrated marketing communications.

Suresh is also passionate about teaching and is guest faculty for Product Management & Brand Marketing Communications at Loyola Institute of Business Administration (LIBA) for MBA & Executive diploma management programs in Chennai, India.

Suresh has graduate and post-graduate degrees from the University of Madras and Anna Institute of Management in Physics, Psychology, and Marketing Management. He also has a Marketing Certificate from the London School of Economics.

Kumar Manu
General Manager - High Performance Execution Management Practice

Manu is an engineer and certified PMP with 13 years' experience in Business and IT Consulting, Outsourcing and Project Management. As General Manager - Indian Operations at CGN, he oversees the high performance execution management stream, which includes Effective Initiative Execution, Monitoring and Governance of Initiatives, Distressed Project Recovery, Workgroup Management and Innovative (New) Product Development

He has worked with companies like McKinsey, Caterpillar, GE, Tata Infotech and Birlasoft in multi-cultural teams across US, Europe and India and is currently leading the Execution and Technology Management Practice of CGN India as General Manager. He has defined, set up, and led several strategic initiatives from the ground-up. He received his Bachelor's in Engineering Degree from Netaji Subas Institute of Technology, Delhi, India, in a First Class with Distinction. He has also been nominated for senior leadership development programs during his tenure with McKinsey and Birlasoft.

Merle Rocke
Chief Operating Officer, CGN & Associates, Inc.

Merle has more than 35 years of experience with a variety of major companies in a variety of industries as well as with the U.S. military. This hands-on experience includes projects and assignments in Manufacturing Operations, Materials, Inventory Management, Information Technology, Finance and Accounting, Marketing, Sales, Product Support, Distribution Operations, Logistics Engineering, Business Research, Corporate Planning, Resource Development and Contract Logistics Services. He is a recognized leader in change management based on 6 Sigma processes and is certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) by the American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS). He is a long-time member of the Council of Logistics Management (CLM).

Prior to joining CGN, Merle worked for M. G. Rocke & Associates, TNT Logistics North America, SPL SOFTWARE ALLIANCE, and Caterpillar Logistics Services.

Merle received his BS in Business Administration from the University of Illinois and has a Certificate in Production and Inventory Management from the American Production and Inventory Control Society. He also has received 6 Sigma Black Belt Training from Caterpillar University.

Seshadri Guha
Chairman, CGN & Associates, Inc.

Guha is President & Founding Partner of CGN & Associates, Inc. His focus includes setting corporate strategy and organizational development within CGN. Guha also works with clients and business leaders to identify trends and potential solution scenarios for industry issues. His areas of interest include competitive strategy, business processes and organizational alignment, technology architecture strategy, and business modeling for strategies and solutions. For the last 15 years, he has served several Fortune 50 companies in the automotive and heavy manufacturing sector.

Before founding CGN, Guha was director of the Advanced Computing Technologies Group at Automated Analysis Corporation (AAC), an engineering consulting organization. He was responsible for the development and implementation of group strategy; and his contributions allowed it to become one of the most successful software organizations in the engineering domain.

Guha is an alumnus of the Kellogg Management Institute Program at Northwestern University and the Executive Program on Engineering Management from the Krannert School of Business at Purdue University. He also received an MS in Engineering from Iowa State University and a BE in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Madras.
